Baba Ghanoush: A Work In Progress

Found this recipe for "The Best in the World" Baba Ghanoush:

It's pretty good, but I'd like to try it with less lemon juice. This version is really punchy. Will post updates as I experiment.

That looks really good. Makes me wish I had a grill! Interesting that you found it too punchy - - due to the lemon juice, it seems you thought. I really like a lemony Baba Ganoush. But I suppose it all depends on how big your eggplant is. I would really like to try this. An Egyptian-looking guy at Whole Foods once told me that he'd tried repeatedly to make BG and had concluded that it just can't be done.

I would love to try your BG some day! I have a serious addiction. If Oliver ever brings home a tub from whole foods its gone in about a day. For some reason, BG tastes a little like chocolate to me. Mmmmm...hungry just thinking about it.
